Secretary of State Marco Rubio destroyed the liberal media’s latest fake news attack on President Trump. During a heated Sunday interview on CBS Face the Nation, Rubio called out host Margaret Brennan for pushing what he called a “stupid media narrative.”
The fake news media is now claiming that European leaders are rushing to Washington to protect Ukraine’s President Zelensky from being bullied by Trump. This is just another lie from the same people who spent years spreading Russia hoax garbage. They cannot stand that Trump is actually trying to end this deadly war.
Rubio set the record straight during the fiery exchange with CBS. He told Brennan that European leaders are not coming to save Zelensky from Trump. Instead, they are working together with the Trump administration on peace talks.
The truth is that Trump has met with Zelensky over a dozen times since taking office. Meanwhile, he only had one meeting with Putin in Alaska last week. But the biased media wants to paint Trump as some kind of Russian puppet instead of the peacemaker he really is.
Trump hosted Putin for talks in Alaska, but the Russian leader still demands Ukraine give up territory. Putin wants Ukraine to hand over the lands Russia stole during the war, plus even more territory. President Zelensky has rightfully refused these outrageous demands.
The liberal media hates that Trump is the only leader strong enough to bring both sides to the table. They spent years claiming Trump was weak on Russia, but now they attack him for being too tough in negotiations. You cannot win with these people.
Rubio was absolutely right to call out CBS for their dishonest reporting. The mainstream media continues to push anti-Trump stories instead of covering the real news. They would rather see this war continue than give Trump credit for trying to end it.
Trump will meet with Zelensky and European leaders today at the White House. While the media spreads lies about bullying, Trump will keep working for peace. That is what real leadership looks like, and that is why Americans chose Trump to lead again.
