The Israel-Hamas war continues to rage with no clear end in sight. Two big questions remain that will shape the future of this conflict. Will Israel occupy Gaza for good, or will there be some kind of peace deal that brings the hostages home?
Israel has every right to defend itself after the savage October 7 attack that killed over 1,000 innocent people. Hamas terrorists butchered families in their homes and took hundreds hostage. Any nation would respond with overwhelming force to such evil.
The problem is that Hamas and Palestinian leaders cannot be trusted. They had a ceasefire deal in January 2025 but it fell apart because Palestinians refused to honor their commitments. Hamas still holds innocent Israelis hostage while crying about their own casualties.
Prime Minister Netanyahu faces an impossible choice between bad options. He can occupy Gaza completely to stop future attacks, but that means a long and costly military presence. Or he can try diplomacy again, but past peace deals have always failed when terrorists break their promises.
Israel now controls much of Gaza after months of fighting that resumed in March 2025. The military campaign has been tough but necessary to root out Hamas terrorists. Israel has shown remarkable restraint while Hamas uses civilians as human shields.
This fight is bigger than just Israel and Hamas. Iran backs Hamas along with Hezbollah in Lebanon and other terror groups across the region. These Iranian proxies want to destroy Israel and America too.
America must stand firmly with our democratic ally Israel. We cannot let terrorist groups and their Iranian sponsors win this war. Israel needs our weapons, our money, and our political support to finish the job.
The choice is clear for America and Israel. We must defeat Hamas completely and make sure they can never threaten innocent people again. Peace only comes through strength, not by rewarding terrorists with concessions.
