McEntarfer was a Biden appointee who clearly couldn’t do her job right. Her agency failed to collect nearly 20 percent of the price data they needed for July because of poor management and lack of resources. How can we trust job numbers from people who can’t even collect basic information? This is exactly the kind of government incompetence that voters rejected in November.
The Bureau of Labor Statistics is supposed to be neutral, but we all know that’s a joke. Deep state bureaucrats have been working against conservative presidents for decades. Nixon faced the same problem with these same agencies trying to make him look bad. Nothing has changed except now they’re more obvious about it.
Trump’s decision sends a clear message to every government worker: do your job honestly or find a new one. Every small business owner and worker depends on accurate information to make decisions about their future.
The media is attacking Trump for this firing, but they’re missing the point completely. When government agencies lie to the American people, heads should roll. That’s exactly what Trump promised to do when he campaigned on draining the swamp. This is what real leadership looks like.
