Sean Davis, CEO of The Federalist, called out Democrats for abandoning ordinary Americans to cater to radical leftists and illegal immigrants. On Jesse Watters Primetime, Davis declared the party now represents “freaks and illegal aliens” instead of working-class citizens. He slammed Democrats’ refusal to secure borders, arguing they prioritize lawbreakers over taxpayers worried about safety and jobs.
Davis mentioned migrants being deported have only themselves to blame. “If someone breaks the law and gets caught, that’s not America’s fault,” he said. He criticized Democrats for claiming expanded illegal immigration is compassionate when it actually burdens schools, hospitals and local communities that struggle to serve both citizens and foreign nationals.
Attacks on ICE agents have surged 830% in recent months, according to a senior DHS official who spoke with Davis. He highlighted the danger as left-wing activists increasingly demonize border protection efforts. “ICE agents risk their lives to keep America safe,” Davis said. “Accusing them of being ‘cruel’ or ‘incompetent’ emboldens those who want to hurt them.”
Davis also mocked the media’s selective outrage. He pointed to their silence on Joe Biden’s obvious cognitive decline, contrasting it with their relentless focus on conservative leaders’ minor missteps. “These ‘journalists’ act like Biden’s botched speeches are charming eccentricities,” he said. “They’d eat Trump alive for stumbling over one syllable.”
Attacking ICE and ignoring border chaos shows Democrats no longer respect law enforcement, Davis argued. “When political elites protect illegal aliens over citizens, that’s open betrayal,” he said. He warned that such policies aren’t just about immigration—they’re about eroding national sovereignty and rule of law.
Davis questioned why Democrats oppose stricter immigration controls given the dangers of unvetted migration. “They’re more worried about offending Guatemala’s embassy than keeping fentanyl dealers from poisoning our kids,” he said. “That’s not leadership. That’s suicidal politics.”
The Federalist CEO emphasized that true compassion means enforcing borders fairly. “America can’t save every derelict regime on earth,” he said. “We have to pick between those who respect our laws and those who treat citizenship like a right.”
Davis urged Americans to reject Democrats’ radical platform and stand with leaders who put citizens first. “This isn’t about being anti-immigrant,” he said. “It’s about being pro-American. The border is a lifeline, not a welcome mat.”
