Liberal Media Ignored Texas Floods, Focused on Politics

Deadly floods hit Kerr County, Texas, during the Fourth of July weekend. Over 50 people died as waters rose 26 feet in just 45 minutes. Rescue teams worked around the clock to find missing neighbors.

Congressman Chip Roy rushed to help his constituents face this tragedy. He saw houses swept away and families torn apart. Roy praised the heroic first responders risking their lives.

President Trump visited Texas to support the recovery efforts. He called the disaster response “incredible” and praised local leaders. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said the federal government is backing state-led rescue work.

But while Texans suffered, NPR and PBS ignored the crisis. Instead of reporting on the floods, they focused on pushing political legislation. This shows where their priorities really lie.

Roy exposed how these liberal outlets abandoned real journalism. They let down Americans who needed information during the disaster. Their actions prove they care more about politics than people.

Governor Greg Abbott promised to rebuild safer communities. He vowed to prevent future tragedies across Texas river basins. The state’s quick action saved countless lives while Washington slept.

Texans are tough and will recover from this nightmare. We pull together when crisis strikes, unlike coastal elites in media. Our communities will emerge stronger than ever.

The liberal media should be ashamed for ignoring this American tragedy. Real reporters would’ve shown the world our courage. But we don’t need them – Texans take care of our own.
