Secret Service Fails to Protect Trump, Agents Face Slap on the Wrist

The Secret Service suspended six agents after failing to protect President Trump from an assassination attempt. They were punished without pay for up to 42 days. These agents were moved to lower-level jobs. Their mistakes put American lives at risk.

One brave firefighter died protecting others at the rally. Two more citizens got hurt. Even President Trump was shot in the ear. This never should have happened with proper security.

The shooter climbed onto a roof with a rifle. Secret Service agents didn’t see him until too late. Their job was to watch for threats like this. They failed the American people that day.

A congress report proved this attack could have been stopped. It found big problems in training and leadership. The Secret Service wasn’t ready to protect our president. That’s unacceptable for such an important job.

Secret Service bosses say they’re fixing the problems now. They created new teams to watch the skies better. They’re sharing information with local police faster. These changes should have happened years ago.

Some agents got light punishment for terrible failures. Suspensions without pay aren’t enough. Americans deserve real accountability when leaders mess up this badly. Our protectors must do better.

President Trump is happy with the changes according to reports. He’s a strong leader who wants what’s best for America. We must support leaders who put safety first.

The Secret Service must earn back our trust. They failed when we needed them most. Patriots demand protection without excuses. America deserves nothing less.
