A brave law enforcement officer was shot while stopping a planned attack on our border heroes in Texas. The shooter, Ryan Louis Mosqueda, tried to kill Border Patrol agents as they arrived for work in McAllen. He fired many rounds at the building entrance. Agents and police fought back and stopped him.
Mosqueda wore tactical gear and used a rifle in his ambush. He came from Michigan and had more weapons in his car. This was no random act. It was a deliberate attack on the people who protect our borders.
Border Patrol agents showed incredible courage. They returned fire and took down the threat. No agents were hurt, but a local police officer got shot in the knee. He’s stable now, thank God.
This was clearly a targeted attack. Law enforcement says Mosqueda meant to kill our border agents. It’s the third such ambush in just days. Our men and women in uniform are under constant assault.
The southern border is a war zone because of weak leadership. Open border policies invite chaos and violence. Every day, our agents face dangers that politicians ignore. It’s time to wake up.
Just days ago, another officer was shot near an ICE facility. These attacks are coordinated and planned. They show the real cost of failing to secure our borders. Our brave officers are paying the price.
House Speaker Mike Johnson called out the truth. He said Democrat attacks on law enforcement encourage this violence. When leaders badmouth the police, criminals feel bold. It’s a direct line from hateful words to bloody actions.
We must stand with our border heroes. Support law enforcement. Demand secure borders. Stop the politicians who put agents in danger. America’s safety depends on it.
