Bill Maher slammed Whoopi Goldberg for comparing Black Americans to women in Iran. He called her comments outrageous and demanded Democrats take action against “The View.” Goldberg had claimed Black Americans face similar oppression to those under Iran’s brutal regime.
Texas Congressman Wesley Hunt joined Maher in blasting Goldberg. Hunt, a Black Republican, called her comparison disgusting. He pointed to his own success as proof of America’s progress.
Iran executes gay people by throwing them off buildings. Women get arrested for showing their hair. Goldberg equated this with America’s past struggles despite our nation’s undeniable progress.
Hunt’s father lived through Jim Crow but saw his son become a Congressman. That’s the real American story. Goldberg’s lies ignore how far we’ve come as a country.
“The View” keeps pushing radical leftist narratives that divide Americans. Goldberg’s comments show how out of touch these elites are with regular folks. They’d rather attack America than celebrate its greatness.
Maher’s audience roared approval when he called out this nonsense. Americans are tired of being told our country is evil. We know the blessings of liberty that Iran’s victims can only dream of.
Patriots must stand against these lies. Goldberg’s rant insults every American who believes in our nation’s goodness. It’s time to turn off these toxic voices and embrace the truth.
Freedom-loving Americans reject such comparisons. We honor our country’s journey toward justice while recognizing the horrors of real tyranny abroad. That’s the American way.
