AI Scammers Are Targeting Americans—Is Washington Doing Enough?

Criminals are already using AI to scam hardworking Americans, and it’s getting worse by the day. Experts warn AI-generated content will soon make the internet untrustworthy, flooding platforms with fake videos and voices that fool even the smartest folks. Former Google CEO Eric Schmidt admits the tech elite have unleashed a monster they can’t control, saying the foundation for superintelligent AI “is being locked in and we’re not going to stop it.”

Schmidt knows what he’s talking about—he helped build this beast. Now he’s sounding the alarm about foreign enemies like China, Russia, and Iran weaponizing AI against us. These regimes could use AI to create bioweapons, launch cyberattacks, or spread chaos through deepfake propaganda. Why aren’t Washington’s bureaucrats doing more to protect everyday citizens?

Scam calls and fake videos are just the start. Imagine AI writing phishing emails so convincing your grandma sends her life savings to a crook. Imagine terrorists using AI to plan attacks or hack power grids. The left’s obsession with regulating speech instead of securing our tech leaves families vulnerable.

Schmidt warns this isn’t sci-fi—it’s happening now. Rogue states and tech giants are racing to dominate AI, while ordinary Americans pay the price. The same elites who censored conservatives online now act shocked when their creations backfire. Where’s the accountability?

Some in Congress want a “Manhattan Project” for AI, throwing billions at unaccountable scientists. But Schmidt says that could spark an arms race, making things worse. We don’t need more government bloat—we need tough policies to crush foreign threats and punish Big Tech recklessness.

The solution isn’t more globalist treaties or UN committees. America must lead with strength, not apology. Secure our data, deport tech spies, and invest in defense AI that safeguards borders. Let’s put patriots in charge, not Silicon Valley globalists who put profits over people.

Liberals mock these concerns as “conspiracy theories,” but their open-border policies let adversaries infiltrate our tech sector. Meanwhile, Schmidt—a former insider—admits the danger. It’s time to wake up: the future of crime is here, and it’s wearing a lab coat.

Real Americans built this nation with grit and faith. We didn’t surrender to fear then, and we won’t now. Fight for transparency, hold tech titans’ feet to the fire, and never let unaccountable AI erase the truths we hold dear. This is a battle for our way of life—and with God’s help, we’ll win it.
