DeSantis Scores HUGE Win In Federal Court For His “Stop Woke Act”

Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-Fla) just keeps winning.

According to the plaintiffs, DeSantis did not follow the proper steps when it came to implementing certain parts of the law. The issue was raised after Chris Spencer, the chief of the Florida Office of Budget, sent out a memo to the universities.

Despite the court's concerns about the potential violation of the injunction, it has ruled that there has been no breach of the injunction. After a federal judge ruled that DeSantis' administration did not break a court order regarding a law that prevents schools from teaching Critical Theory, the governor celebrated.

In November, Judge Walker issued a temporary injunction to prevent the implementation of the law, which he referred to as "positively dystopian." He said that it would be detrimental to democracy if the state prevented professors from teaching critical theory.

Bryan Griffin, the press secretary for DeSantis, defended the law. He noted that the governor was doing his part to protect students from the Left's attempts to brainwash them. As the governor, he has the right to ask the state's public entities, such as universities and colleges, how they are spending their money. According to Griffin, that's good government.

During the Covid-19 outbreak, parents became more aware of what their kids are being taught. In 2022, around 39 percent of the bills introduced targeted higher education, up from 30 percent in 2021.

A survey conducted in 55 colleges revealed that there is a liberal bias in higher education. About 50 percent of the students identified themselves as liberal, while 26 percent were conservative.
