Justice Department Investigates Chicago’s Race-Based Hiring Scandal

The Justice Department is cracking down on Chicago’s city hall over hiring practices that prioritize race over merit. Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon launched a civil rights investigation after Mayor Brandon Johnson bragged about filling top jobs based on skin color. This shocking admission exposes the radical agenda driving leadership in America’s cities.

Johnson openly celebrated stacking his administration with Black hires during a church speech. He listed multiple high-ranking positions held by Black officials, calling it “the most diverse administration in Chicago history.” But diversity shouldn’t mean discriminating against qualified candidates of other races. The Biden administration’s silence on this scandal speaks volumes about their priorities.

Harmeet Dhillon isn’t backing down. The Trump-appointed civil rights chief demanded answers, citing Johnson’s blatant race-based hiring as illegal. Title VII of the Civil Rights Act bans discrimination, even if it’s disguised as “equity.” Real justice means judging people by their abilities, not their melanin. Chicago’s hardworking taxpayers deserve better than this divisive nonsense.

The mayor claims critics are just haters of Black success. But patriotism isn’t about skin color—it’s about upholding the law. Johnson’s race-obsessed hiring undermines unity and fuels resentment. If a conservative mayor hired only White people, liberals would scream “racism!” Double standards are destroying trust in our institutions.

This investigation is part of a broader Trump-era push to restore colorblind fairness nationwide. For too long, woke bureaucrats have weaponized “diversity” to exclude certain groups. Dhillon’s bold move sends a message: radical identity politics won’t dictate who gets jobs. Merit must come first, period.

Chicago’s crumbling infrastructure and crime crisis prove failed leadership. Instead of fixing potholes or stopping shootings, Johnson focuses on race-based hiring quotas. Prioritizing skin color over skills hurts everyone. A city in chaos can’t afford symbolic gestures that divide instead of uniting.

Conservatives are fighting to protect the American dream for all races. The Left’s obsession with equity over excellence risks turning workplaces into social experiments. Hardworking families want safe streets, good schools, and fair opportunities—not divisive racial grandstanding from out-of-touch politicians.

This case could set a critical precedent. If the courts side with Dhillon, it’ll be a major blow to woke hiring practices nationwide. The battle for merit-based fairness is just beginning. Patriots across America are watching—and rooting for justice to prevail.
