McConnell Joins Pelosi & Schumer On Media Cartel Bailout, Allowing Conservative Censorship

It's clear that Mitch McConnell is not on the same side as the majority of Senate Republicans. In fact, 37 of the 48 members of the Senate voted to keep him as the leader of the party.

According to a number of national polls conducted by The People's Pundit, more Democrats than Republicans have a favorable view of Mitch McConnell.

On Monday, a report by the conservative news outlet, Babble, claimed that McConnell joined with Chuck and Nancy, as well as Nancy, to add the Big Media Bailout Bill to the defense authorization bill.

The report claimed that the bill was a transfer of wealth from Silicon to Big Media, which is the same people who have been continuously lying to the American public about major stories since 2016.

The bill would allow Big Media to create a joint venture to suppress the content of independent competitors.

He really, really hates you.

Breitbart.com reported:

According to sources, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell agreed to the conditions of Nancy and Chuck and will allow the controversial media cartel bill, which is known as the JCPA, to be included in the defense authorization bill.

Despite the objections of House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy, other congressional leaders agreed to add the JCPA to the NDAA's base text. McCarthy was the only member of the House Republican leadership to voice his concerns about the inclusion of the controversial media cartel bill.

The inclusion of the JCPA in the NDAA is a clear indication that Nancy Pelosi, who is leaving her position as the House Democratic leader after the midterm elections, is not planning on following through on her promise to work on reforming the country's national security policies. This is an outrageous step for an outgoing leader, especially since the bill has typically been used to address national security issues.

The JCPA transfers wealth from the tech industry to the discredited and corporate-controlled media. Apart from the financial payouts to media firms, the bill allows them to form a cartel that would be immune from antitrust law. This type of deal would allow Big Tech companies to negotiate with their rivals on the terms and conditions of their content.

Media companies are known to demand censorship. Even though the bill prohibits them from engaging in negotiations to suppress the content of their competitors, they can still ask to be prioritized over topics that are commonly used as pretexts for censorship, such as "disinformation."
