Carine Jean- When it comes to her job, Pierre has never been particularly skilled. There has been a recent deterioration, though. We've already mentioned how badly she bungled when asked about Joe Biden's involvement with Hunter Biden's finances. On Tuesday, she completely lost it in front of the press when a reporter demanded to know where COVID was first seen. Seeing that this was probably Fauci's last briefing before retiring, reporters were eager to pick his brain one more time.
At first, there was the gushy promotion making Fauci out to be a superhuman.

Gag.
However, from that point on, things deteriorated rapidly. Even though Diana Glebova from the Daily Caller first tried to ask a question regarding the history of COVID, Karine Jean-Pierre still didn't call on her and had to speak down for screaming. Jean-Pierre continued to yell at Steven Nelson, a reporter for the New York Post, when he supported her.

Simon Ateba of Today National press Africa stepped in to defend Glebova, claiming that her issue was a "valid question" that Jean-Pierre had been avoiding, and that KJP was refusing to call on people "from across the room" (an admission that she doesn't call on people from all sides of the room in an equal fashion).

This is a revolting way to treat other people, Jean-Pierre. In all seriousness, who does she think she is? It is not professional behaviour, regardless of if you agree with the request. As an employee of the people, she has a responsibility to provide a proper response to these [said] representatives of the people.Curtis Houck said that April Ryan was angry by the fact that Glebova dared to ask a question and that independent media thought they had a right to be called on as well with“questions contrary to what the White House wants to be pushed.”
While KJP tried her best to dodge questions from non-affiliated media, she did bring in NBC's Mike Memoli to ask “Republicans pounce” how "aggressive" the Republicans would be in their grilling of Fauci next year.
Take notice of how Peter Doocy, of Fox News, is stopped mid-question.
Of course, KJP & Fauci took NBC reporter/Biden hack Mike Memoli's question about COVID origins b/c it was framed as a smear of those raising concerns: "How are you preparing for the likely aggressive oversight from House Republicans…next year…they've been promising" on COVID? pic.twitter.com/UHVIkVWdwn

In conclusion? Although this has had a disastrous impact on Americans and resulted in many fatalities, there are still some topics the Biden team isn't ready to address, and the causes of COVID are among them. You would think this would be at the top of the list of priorities for Democrats. But it isn’t, and that’s plain shameful. While Fauci and the Biden team may have previously avoided such inquiries, with the Republicans in charge of the House, they will no longer be able to dodge them.
