In a last-ditch effort to save his floundering campaign, John Fetterman has resorted to the desperation strategy of suggesting that Dr. Mehmet Oz is a supporter of the Dallas Cowboys.
On Tuesday, John Fetterman accused his Republican opponent of being a supporter of the Eagles' nemesis in the NFC East by tweeting a picture of a billboard that will be placed on a highway in Philadelphia close to the stadium for the Philadelphia Eagles. The billboard will be visible from both directions.
Now that Dr. Oz is running for office, he is trying very hard to give the impression that he is a true Philadelphia sports fan. However, everybody is aware that he secretly cheers for the Cowboys, Fetterman wrote on Twitter. You Iggles fans won't be able to forget about it because to our stunning new billboard that was up at the Linc.
Now that Dr. Oz is running for office, he *acts* like he’s a real Philly sports fan. But we all know he’s really a Cowboys fan 🙄

The billboard will remain in place until the end of the Eagles and Cowboys game that will take place this coming Sunday night. A photo that Dr. Oz posted in 2013 shows him kicking a football through the field goalposts at the Cowboys' stadium. This was years before Dr. Oz entered politics. Trying out for the Cowboys during our 15-minute physical at their facility, he captioned the photo.

Even while a recent poll revealed that the impact of that attack had lost its taste among likely voters, the campaign for John Fetterman informed The Hill that the new billboard further emphasizes Oz's position as a carpetbagger in Pennsylvania.
The fact that Oz is willing to give out his alleged Eagles fandom for clout when he's in Dallas may be hilarious example of his failure to adopt serious views and keep consistent convictions, but it's much more than that, said Brendan McPhillips, Fetterman's campaign manager.
This definitely goes to the bottom of what kind of person this guy is. McPhillips continued, When he's in Dallas, he acts like he's a Cowboys fan, but when he's campaigning for office, he tailgates at Eagles games like he's a true Philadelphia fan.
Since the summer, Dr. Oz has been steadily closing the gap between himself and his Democratic opponent. This is largely due to Fetterman's deteriorating mental health after he suffered a stroke, which Fetterman may believe indicates that voters are shallow enough to base their vote on football tribalism. Following an in-person interview, even NBC News journalist Dasha Burns agreed that Fetterman has difficulties with basic communication and comprehension.
Due to ongoing difficulties with auditory processing as a result of the stroke, we put up a monitor so he could read my questions instead of trying to listen to them. Now that he has read the question, he is able to comprehend its meaning. You can also find out that he is still battling certain difficulties and troubles with his speaking. Even in the short talk before the interview, before the closed captioning was up and running, it seemed that he had trouble comprehending what was being said, Burns said MSNBC.
