Melugin questioned many Democrats, and the majority of those Democrats either completely disregarded him or failed to give answer to his questions.

Even while Democrats are desperately trying to avoid being held accountable for the criticism directed at the border, the situation is still very real for many Americans.

A sheriff in Texas is making a plea for assistance because he is unhappy with the lack of support for border security operations that the Biden administration is providing. In an interview with Fox News that was broadcast on Friday, the sheriff of Maverick County, Texas, Tom Schmerber stated that he has not received "any help" from President Joe Biden and that he does not believe the federal government is assisting anyone in the county. Schmerber also advocated for a policy of "zero tolerance," in which individuals who enter the country illegally are immediately deported, and individuals who wish to apply for asylum can do so at embassies located in countries other than the United States. He stated that it's like there's no control. The gates have been opened.
The catastrophe is in fact occurring. Over two million people are believed to have crossed the border illegally, along with an unknown quantity of drugs and potential terrorists. The left is doing nothing more than encouraging people to enter the border illegally, which is a problem. If this continues, the United States of America will cease to exist in its current form.
