Media Attacks Trump’s Immigration Success While Democrats Defend Gang Ties

The mainstream media is once again attacking President Trump’s commonsense immigration policies. A recent CNN segment showed host Dana Bash aggressively questioning Senator Chris Van Hollen about his support for Kilmar Ábrego García, a man deported to El Salvador after being linked to the violent MS-13 gang. Bash repeatedly demanded to know if Van Hollen asked García about his alleged gang ties, exposing the left’s refusal to confront hard truths about border security.

García was deported in March under a Trump administration policy targeting suspected gang members, despite a 2019 court order blocking his removal to El Salvador. While Democrats claim he’s innocent, officials point to his gang-affiliated tattoos and testimony from a criminal informant. The administration stands firm, arguing that even without U.S. convictions, García’s connections pose a dire threat to American communities.

Senator Van Hollen recently visited García in a Salvadoran prison, a trip reportedly arranged by El Salvador’s President Nayib Bukele. Instead of focusing on American safety, Van Hollen and other Democrats are fighting to bring García back to Maryland, where his wife and children live. This prioritization of a potential gang member over law-abiding citizens showcases the left’s skewed values.

CNN’s Bash faced backlash from conservatives for her hostile questioning, with commentator Dave Rubin slamming the network’s hypocrisy. Rubin highlighted how liberals automatically side with accused criminals over law enforcement, undermining efforts to combat gang violence. While Bash nitpicked details, millions of Americans suffer from open borders and rampant crime.

President Trump boldly defended the deportation, telling ABC News that García’s gang ties disqualify him from U.S. residency. Unlike weak-kneed Democrats, Trump refuses to apologize for protecting Americans first. His administration’s partnership with El Salvador has successfully jailed dangerous gang members abroad, preventing them from infiltrating our neighborhoods.

The left’s obsession with García reveals their contempt for immigration laws. They cry “wrongful deportation” but ignore the victims of MS-13 brutality—teenagers stabbed in parks, families extorted, communities living in fear. Trump’s policies have decimated these gangs, while Biden’s border chaos lets them regroup.

Conservatives see through the media’s smear campaign. When outlets like CNN parrot activist talking points, they insult the police officers and ICE agents risking their lives to keep us safe. García’s case isn’t about compassion—it’s about enforcing the law and putting America’s security above political correctness.

This is the choice we face: Trump’s proven record of crushing criminal gangs or Biden’s open borders and catch-and-release disasters. The Rubin Report and other patriotic voices won’t back down from telling the truth, even as the left weaponizes emotions to dismantle our sovereignty. Strong borders save lives, and no amount of media theatrics will change that.
