President Joe Biden has falsely portrayed Richard Michetti and other MAGA Republican protesters on January 6 as dangerous insurrectionists who pose a threat to national security and democracy.
After getting caught up in the chaos at the Capitol protests and "gesticulating at the [police] officers and at one point briefly pinching the sleeve of one officer," NBC News reported that on September 6 Michetti was sentenced to nine months in federal prison, followed by two years of supervised release by the Biden junta.
The Federal government coaxed Michetti into pleading guilty to obstruction of an official process for that serious crime and because his ex-girlfriend had reported him for calling her a "moron" for not believing in any election fraud in 2020.
Nine communist idiots from the Stephen Colbert Show were let go without bail and never charged after they broke into the Capitol and pounded on the doors of Republican members earlier this year.
They weren't MAGA Republicans, though, so the Biden regime's campaign of political revenge and persecution under the pretense of justice didn't apply to them.
Michetti was given a nine-month prison term by the judge. Following Biden's order to punish MAGA Republicans, federal prosecutors sought to sentence Michette to 18 months behind bars.
Attorneys claimed the Trump fan posed a threat because he had told his ex-girlfriend that he was at the Capitol because he thought the 2020 presidential election had been 'rigged' and'stolen.'
Prosecutors on JAG Team 6's headhunting task force claimed that Michetti believed that certification of the 2020 presidential election was causing a 'civil war' and engaged with hundreds of individuals to collectively try to stop Congress from fulfilling its Constitutional responsibility.
Michetti personally confronted police, who twice drenched him with a chemical irritant, and encouraged other rioters who were beating cops in the Old Senate Chamber hallway, according to prosecutors' written statements.
Michetti pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and assault after admitting he entered the United States Capitol and yelled at officers, we feed your family, you are just taking orders, and we pay you, and that he gesticulated at the officers and at one point briefly squeezed the sleeve of one officer, as NBC reported.
As a result of the MAGA Republican's outrageous behavior, the FBI had all but forgotten about Michetti until he was nabbed by an angry ex-girlfriend who called in with a loaded pistol.
According to ABC News, Michetti's counsel said that his client never planned to join the mob that stormed the Capitol and instead attended the demonstration to show his fervent opinion that the country was headed in a dreadful direction.
Michetti informed the judge before sentencing that he was taking anger management classes and going to church regularly.
It's not the same guy your honor saw on January 6," Michetti told the judge.
It was irrelevant. In front of him, the court saw a MAGA Republican whom President Biden had labeled a threat to democracy and who, as such, deserved punishment.
