The fury that Americans feel about Biden's DOJ is hardly overstated. The FBI conducted an unprecedented and terrifying raid on Trump's residence. The reasons why they would take such extreme measures haven't been explained in great depth. Trump is responding by claiming that they infringed upon his 4th Amendment rights.
The release of the affidavit the FBI used to obtain a search warrant is the subject of a dispute. We might find out that they didn't have a solid reason to raid his residence. What about Joe Biden's involvement in this, though? The White House asserted without delay that it was unaware of the raid. Few did so given the conditions.
We now have concrete evidence that the administration was lying.
According to contemporaneous government documents examined by Just the News, the Biden White House worked closely with the Justice Department and National Archives to launch the criminal investigation into alleged document mishandling long before it claimed to have no prior knowledge of the raid on Donald Trump's estate. This allowed the FBI to review evidence taken from Mar-a-Lago this spring and ended the 45th president's claims to executive privilege.
The documents reveal that in April, not long after 15 boxes of classified and other materials were voluntarily sent to the National Archives from Trump's Florida residence, then-White House Deputy Counsel Jonathan Su had discussions with the FBI, DOJ, and National Archives.
Su informed the Archives in May that President Joe Biden would not object to waiving his predecessor's claims to executive privilege. This action made it possible for the DOJ to convince a grand jury to issue a subpoena requiring President Trump to turn over any records he still had from his time in office. [Referring to Just the News]
The Biden administration appears to be in a hurry. Because Jonathan Su, the deputy counsel for the White House, was just put up for grabs. Su collaborated with the FBI and National Archives, opening the door for them to start an investigation and conduct the raid, according to recently made public memos and emails.
Su asserted that Joe Biden would not be opposed to waiving Trump's assertion of executive privilege, which has historically protected presidents from this type of treatment. This implies that at least some members of the government were aware of the FBI's plans, maybe including Biden.
This information reveals that the FBI's goal was known to the White House, which assisted them in advancing it. This defies a recent assertion that the White House was "no knowledge" of the investigation and raid.
The administration, though, seems to be terrified of the reaction to this raid. The DOJ and FBI immediately traded accusations while making contradictory comments. The White House now appears to be attempting to blame Su, who may take the blame in order to defend Biden.
It seems quite improbable that Su would be speaking on Biden's behalf without Biden's knowledge. All they want to do is throw this man under the bus, but this stinks to high heaven. Biden might have been aware that his DOJ had initiated an offensive against a political foe.
Anyone for impeachment, I guess?
