President Trump and his allies are pushing back hard against judges they say are blocking his plans to deport violent illegal immigrants. Senator Marsha Blackburn is leading the charge. She says these “activist” judges are putting Americans in danger by stopping the removal of gang members and terrorists.
Republican lawmakers have already filed impeachment papers against Judge James Boasberg. He tried to stop deportation flights for Venezuelan gang members linked to Tren de Aragua. Blackburn says Boasberg overstepped his power. She argues judges shouldn’t interfere with the president’s duty to protect the country.
Judge Boasberg’s order came too late to stop two planes packed with gang members from leaving. A third plane wasn’t covered by his ruling. The White House says it followed the law. But Boasberg demanded answers anyway. Trump slammed the judge as a “Radical Left Lunatic” and called for his impeachment.
Blackburn says these judges care more about wasting taxpayer money than keeping Americans safe. She points out that Trump has a clear mandate from voters to secure the border. Judges who block his policies are ignoring the will of the people. She believes taxpayer dollars shouldn’t fund “Sesame Street in Iraq” or “trans surgeries in other countries.”
The Tennessee senator is pushing her CLEAR Act to let local police help deport criminal illegals. She says this would prevent tragedies like Rachel Morin’s murder by an illegal immigrant. Blackburn calls open borders “barbaric” and says Biden’s judges are making things worse by protecting foreign criminals over U.S. citizens.
Other Republicans like Rep. Brandon Gill are joining the fight. Gill filed impeachment charges against Boasberg for “abusing his power.” He says the judge is part of a pattern of liberal judges trying to block Trump’s agenda. Over 60 court orders have stalled Trump policies since he took office – far more than under past presidents.
Blackburn claims Democrats are using the courts to push their radical policies. She says Trump judges follow the Constitution while activist judges make up laws. The senator wants Congress to pass bills that stop wasteful spending and keep violent illegals out. She says the GOP will keep fighting until the border is secure.
Conservatives say this showdown proves who really sides with law and order. Trump’s team argues he’s just doing what voters elected him to do. With impeachment moves and new legislation, Republicans are drawing a line. They say no judge should stand between Americans and their safety.
