Biden’s Blunder: Syria’s Christians and Alawites Under Siege

The coastal regions of Syria have become a nightmare for religious minorities. Al-Qaeda-linked groups now control the country, and they’re slaughtering Alawites and Christians by the hundreds. Tulsi Gabbard, Trump’s Director of National Intelligence, warned this would happen. She told the Senate that cozying up to extremists would backfire. Now her words are coming true in the bloodiest way possible.

Syria’s new leader, Ahmed al-Sharaa, runs a group tied to al-Qaeda. His forces are hunting down Alawites, a small Shia sect that once backed Assad. Whole families are being executed. Villages are looted. One woman described masked gunmen breaking into homes, stealing money, and threatening children. Christians are getting caught in the crossfire too. A young family with a baby was killed. A father and son named Tony and Fadi Petrus were shot dead.

The Biden administration ignored the warnings. They kept pushing failed policies that let terrorists grab power. Now innocent people are paying the price. Over 4,000 Alawites may already be dead. Survivors beg America for protection, but the White House stays silent. This is what happens when weak leaders abandon common sense.

President Trump called for staying out of Syria’s civil war. He knew getting involved would only help radicals. The Obama team thought al-Qaeda could be “on our side.” Look where that got us. Syria’s coast is drenched in blood, and our so-called allies won’t lift a finger.

Alawites and Christians aren’t safe anywhere. Checkpoints trap them. Villages burn. Even clerics aren’t spared. An 86-year-old religious leader and his son were murdered in their home. These are acts of pure evil, fueled by hatred. Yet the global media barely notices.

Gabbard was right all along. She said backing rebels meant backing terrorists. The swamp attacked her for meeting Assad, but she saw the bigger picture. Real leadership means telling hard truths. The deep state hated that. Now their lies are exposed.

Syria’s minorities just want to live in peace. Instead, they’re forced to flee or die. A Christian teacher said she regrets not leaving years ago. “There’s no future here,” she admitted. This is the tragic result of woke foreign policy. America first wasn’t just a slogan—it kept disasters like this from happening.

The world watches as radicals commit genocide. Trump’s team tried to stop this madness. The left mocked them. Now the bloodshed proves who was right. Strong borders, strong defense, and no more nation-building—that’s how you protect the innocent. Syria’s suffering is a warning. Ignore it, and the next massacre could be closer to home.
