Senator John Kennedy didn’t hold back when he called out the Democratic Party’s recent antics. He said President Trump used Democrats as a “chew toy” during his speech to Congress, pointing out their chaotic behavior. While Democrats waved protest signs and shouted, Trump laid out plans to fix the economy and secure the border. Kennedy joked that their protests looked more like “bidding on an antique tea set” than serious opposition.
The Democrats’ biggest mistake, according to Kennedy, is siding with wasteful government spending over taxpayers. Elon Musk has been exposing billions in wasted funds, but Democrats seem more upset about the budget cuts than the waste itself. They’d rather protect bloated programs than save Americans’ hard-earned money. This stubbornness is why voters are turning away from them.
Social issues are another problem. Democrats keep pushing unpopular ideas, like letting transgender athletes compete in women’s sports. A young girl with brain damage from a volleyball game involving a male athlete didn’t get applause from Democrats during Trump’s speech. Instead, they focused on defending policies that most Americans find baffling. Kennedy mocked their priorities, saying they “majored in online activism with a minor in puberty blockers.”
The party’s leadership looks out of touch. Figures like Elizabeth Warren and Al Green have become faces of the chaos. Warren recently ranted about firing Elon Musk instead of addressing his findings about government waste. Green, who was escorted out of Trump’s speech, acted like a “Texas Chainsaw Massacre” character, as one commentator put it. These stunts make Democrats seem unserious.
Even former Democratic allies are noticing the collapse. Bill O’Reilly compared today’s Democrats to the crumbling Republican Party of the 1930s. Back then, Republicans ignored the Great Depression and lost power for decades. Now, Democrats are repeating history by ignoring voters’ concerns about safety, jobs, and common sense.
Poll after poll shows Americans are fed up. They see Democrats prioritizing illegal immigrants over border security, Hamas over Israel, and radical social experiments over women’s rights. While Trump works to bring jobs back and cut red tape, Democrats seem obsessed with fighting culture wars. It’s no wonder their approval ratings are sinking.
Conservative victories are adding up. Trump’s tariffs are reviving American manufacturing, and his cabinet is slashing wasteful programs. Meanwhile, Democrats can’t even clap for a cancer-stricken boy honored by the Secret Service. Their hatred for Trump has blinded them to what ordinary Americans want: safety, stability, and respect.
The Democratic Party is in freefall. Once the party of FDR’s “compassion,” they now look like angry activists disconnected from reality. As long as they keep attacking Trump instead of listening to voters, their losses will keep mounting. For conservatives, it’s a reminder that common sense still matters—and wins elections.
