Sen. Elissa Slotkin of Michigan gave the Democratic response to President Trump’s speech to Congress. Slotkin just wants to grow government again.
She claimed Democrats have better ideas for the economy, but didn’t explain what those are. Higher taxes? More regulations? We’ve seen that movie before. Trump’s policies created the strongest economy in decades, while Democrats push green energy scams and handouts. Slotkin’s speech was full of complaints but no real solutions.
Conservatives know the truth. Slotkin’s response was a preview of the left’s 2028 playbook: bigger government, less freedom, and blaming Trump for everything. They’re scared because Trump’s policies work. The Democratic Party is stuck in the past, while Trump is moving America forward.
Slotkin’s team says she’s a moderate, but her words last night proved she’s just another pawn for Chuck Schumer and the radical left. Democrats keep losing because they ignore hardworking Americans. Trump’s speech was about unity and strength. Slotkin’s was about division and excuses.
